Dear School Principals and STEM Leaders,
With heartfelt thanks to our nation's teachers, the National Institute for STEM Education is providing free enrollment in our 3-hour online course, Questioning Strategies, during August 2019.
Course Description
Learn how to use education taxonomies to facilitate questioning that scaffolds students' critical thinking and maximizes classroom discussions. Create a personal planning tool to support your creation of standards-aligned questions that stimulate students' thinking and participation in meaningful, academically-focused discourse.
Personal Professional Portfolio
All teachers are also invited to create (for no additional cost) an online, customizable portfolio for documenting and sharing their professional achievements and learning. We know teachers will not have the time to consider something so "luxurious" once their students return in the fall!
Appropriate for teachers working in grades PK-12 and across content areas.
